But it could have belong to a friend or to a local toy library in Noble Park. The following them all the way down looks fun - I was imagining that just looking at my photo of a photo.

Question - am I right in thinking the brown-faced figurine is the only one that is distinctive (or put another way the pink-faced ones are clones)? If so do your kids distinguish it in any way in play? I seem to think we always put him in the helicopter (because possibly it too is a distinct kind of vehicle).
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread)

From: aeduna
Date: December 30th, 2014 09:32 pm (local)
Select: Delete Spam Screen Freeze Track This
(Link)
That sounds familiar.. or the firetruck? ... i don't know that i've seen any of them make much of a distinction tho.
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread)

From: originaluddite
Date: January 4th, 2015 10:44 pm (local)
Select: Edit Delete Screen Freeze Track This
(Link)
It's interesting how much, or how little, kids notice or care about these things.
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread) Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12710148812664294219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19268887.post-33414883363489112282014-12-27T21:40:39.459+11:002014-12-27T21:40:39.459+11:00I never did have Playmobil but have always been im...I never did have Playmobil but have always been impressed by it. you are right about the gendering.
...Dear Daniel,

you are right about the gendering.

One of the lovely things about having a kid has been the donations of old toys. My aunt gave Ruth all the playmobil toys from her boys (who are about 10 years younger than me and my brother, and have not reproduced yet). We've finished with those and handed them back.

And another friend gave me her kids' old collection of lego (from the 90s). My brother got our joint collection (from the 80s).

see you in the new year,

Juliejchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14885293980380133194noreply@blogger.com
