What was more accidental and just sort of happened was that they stagger backwards in time - reading III then II then I would be chronological (if with overlapping timelines).
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread)

From: pezzae
Date: February 8th, 2011 11:29 am (local)
Select: Delete Spam Screen Freeze Track This
(Link)
This is lovely. A perfect finish for the set of growing-up-moments. I don't think it's sad at all.
Personal transformations may not happen quite this rapidly, it's the keeping up of the new until it's a habit that is difficult, but you've captured the way a single conversation/decision/action leads to a new realm of possibilities.
(Reply) (Thread)

From: originaluddite
Date: February 9th, 2011 11:50 am (local)
Select: Edit Delete Screen Freeze Track This
(Link)
Thanks! I am chuffed.

I agree it ends on a hopeful note but the thing overall I find rather sad. But worth exploring nonetheless.

I am interested in these pivotal moments even if they are few. It is interesting to know as one ages that they can happen at all - sometimes we do almost live in story books. But as you say its the momentum of new behaviours that is mundane and challenging.
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread) Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12710148812664294219noreply@blogger.com
